The Role of AI in Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs): Potential and Challenges

On 19 October, the ADW Industry Update, titled 'The Role of AI in Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs): Potential and Challenges,' took place.
In this online webinar, we delved into a critical question: "What valuable insights could policymakers gain from studying human attitudes towards autonomous AI?" Our primary focus revolved around the integration of AI in Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), where we explored the vast potential AI held in transforming UAV capabilities while addressing the obstacles and challenges that accompanied this advanced technology.

We were pleased to introduce two distinguished speakers: Bahador Bahrami - Senior Scientist and Director of the Crowd Cognition Group at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and Jurgis Karpus - Assistant Professor in the Cognition, Values, and Behavior Group, Faculty of Philosophy at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. During this engaging webinar, these experts shared insights into the potential of AI in UAVs and the challenges it entailed.
