A common European market for drones

This yearly conference is organised by EASA and hosted by the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management and takes place during Amsterdam Drone Week. For this event we bring together regulatory bodies and industry experts from all over the world to discuss the development of a common European market for drones.

This immersive two-day meeting is filled with panel discussions by leading experts, policy makers and companies in the unmanned aviation community.

Various themes will focus on the development of U-Space in Europe, new business models, regulation needs, safety, security and privacy.

Topics that will be discussed:

  • The future drone market: What does it look like and how does it relate to the development of smart cities and smart mobility?
  • The state of play of U-Space: What we have done so far and what still has to be done?
  • The common European rules for drones operation: How do regulations help establishing a common European drone market?
  • Communication and safety promotion strategy: What have European countries planned to raise awareness for the new regulations?

When and Where?

The High Level Conference on Drones will take place from 27 to 28 November 2018 in RAI Amsterdam during Amsterdam Drone Week. Registration is on invitation only.
